Thomas Longino

I assist clients with public finance transactions as purchaser's counsel, trustee's counsel and borrower's counsel. I enjoy representing mutual funds in connection with the purchase of tax-exempt and taxable debt and representing trustees and investors in connection with workouts of defaults involving existing holdings.

My prior experience includes tax-exempt finance for governments and their agencies, 501(c)(3) organizations, other conduit borrowers, and distressed or defaulted financings. I also have significant experience with large municipal bankruptcies. Learn more under Public Finance.

Based upon the my experience as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, issuer's counsel and purchaser's counsel in a wide variety of tax-exempt financings, included defaulted financings and including one of the nation's largest municipal bankruptcies, I am available to serve as an expert witness in connection with the interpretation of trust indentures, loan agreements and related issues commonly encountered in the public finance arena.
