Thomas LonginoI assist clients with public finance transactions as purchaser's counsel, trustee's counsel and borrower's counsel. I enjoy representing mutual funds in connection with the purchase of tax-exempt and taxable debt and representing trustees and investors in connection with workouts of defaults involving existing holdings.
My prior experience includes tax-exempt finance for governments and their agencies, 501(c)(3) organizations, other conduit borrowers, and distressed or defaulted financings. Based upon the my experience as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, issuer's counsel and purchaser's counsel in a wide variety of tax-exempt financings, included defaulted financings and including one of the nation's largest municipal bankruptcies, I am available to serve as an expert witness in connection with the interpretation of trust indentures, loan agreements and related issues commonly encountered in the public finance arena.
